If you are looking for a trainer that has a true passion for CrossFit and helping others, Josh Blake is your man! He stumbled upon CrossFit in 2011 while looking for a more intense type of workout, but with less time commitment. After seeing immediate results, Josh became a CrossFit believer and has been hooked ever since! In total, Josh has lost over 80 lbs with the help of CrossFit and has gone through an amazing transformation of his own. He enjoys the Olympic lifting component of CrossFit and his favorite WOD is “DT”. Josh brings a Level 1 CrossFit Certification to Sienna and is working towards his Level 2. During his free time, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife Ami. They both share a love for European travel and have explored the history and architecture in 8 countries to date.
Dana Barger has been part of the Snap Fitness team since we opened the doors in 2010 and is solely responsible for bringing CrossFit to Sienna Plantation in 2011. She took the original idea to become a CrossFit Affiliate and has helped grow the program to what it has become today! Dana has been an avid runner her entire life, which includes over 20 completed marathons and has qualified/raced four times in the prestigious Boston Marathon. She was intrigued by the CrossFit methods and decided to see how it could help strengthen her body. Not only did CrossFit improve her overall fitness, but she saw immediate improvement in her runs as well! Dana is a big believer in training with the cross-functional movements that make up CrossFit. Dana has trained and transformed many clients as a Level 1 CrossFit Instructor in the last four years. With her husband Matt, Dana spends a lot of free time watching her two kids participate in many sporting activities, and as a family they love to travel!
